Happy November, loves! For many business owners, the holiday season is the most busiest season of the year! Placing items on clearance, standing in line for shipping, gift wrapping and more are filled on our to-do lists. I came up with a few simple ways to help out my fellow business folk make things a lot easier to market their businesses to shoppers.
1. Old school marketing
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in using the world wide web to promote, we forget that the old school ways are still effective! Creating and passing out flyers, handing out business cards, and mailing out coupons are great ways to get the word out about your business and sales.
2. Create a giveaway contest
'Tis the season of giving. Offering free goodies to customers is another good way for more people to see your business and what you have to offer.
3. Join new social network sites
Typically, a good chunk of folks use the more popular social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Those websites are very helpful, but they can tend to get over saturated. Sites like Pinterest, Google Plus, Tumblr, Flikr, and others are also very beneficial for getting more people to see what's offered from your business.
4. Offer gift wrapping services
This saves shoppers so much time plus it builds a better relationship between you and your customer. Please only offer this service if you are able to properly wrap gifts!
5. Give free gifts with purchases
Everyone loves a freebie. Add an extra goodie or two with your customer's purchase in the spirit of customer appreciation.
What are more ways you can promote your business this holiday season?
